Shafaq News / The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji confirmed, on Monday, the withdrawal of foreign military forces from Iraq according to a timetable, while he called on Canada to contribute to the reconstruction of Sinjar district.
Al-Araji's media office stated, in a statement received by Shafaq News, that the latter received today in his office in Baghdad, the Canadian ambassador to Iraq, Ulric Shannon, and stressed the necessity of the withdrawal of combat forces within the international coalition from Iraq, indicating that Canada is concerned with this matter being a member of the coalition International.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the political and security situation in the region, and they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in a way that serves the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
The situation in Sinjar was discussed, and the importance of Canada having a clear participation in its reconstruction, and the two sides also discussed the situation in the Al-Hol border camp with Syria.
