Official Statement from Occupy Wall Street

http://mikephilbin.blogspot.com/2011/10/official-statement-from-occupy-wall.html

As we gather together in solidarity to express a feeling of mass injustice, we must not lose sight of what brought us together. We write so that all people who feel wronged by the corporate forces of the world can know that we are your allies.
As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

So there you have it straight from Horse Olbermann's mouth via the Occupy Movement's website.

As the writer/director of the Free Planet blog, I'd suggest there are a few little technicalities (certain vague and fluffy phrases) that are worth considering before moving on ... that our system must protect our rights ... democratic government derives its just power ... self-interest over justice.

There's a real chance to make a difference here, but if all the Occupy Movement is going to do is just regurgitate the SLAVE JOBS for SLAVE WAGES ethos of the Corporate War Machine's major gameplan, that you are nothing more than chattel or cattle or some cog in the chain.

You have to stand up for THE RIGHT REASONS.
You have to stand up for YOUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN.
You have to stand up for THE REAL EARTH STRIPPED OF OPPRESSION, a Free Planet.

mike philbin - article quote - "but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth"

You have got to be kidding - He is talking out of both sides of his mouth and no clue what he is saying - he is an airhead full of himself - of course they absolutely do seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth - without you knowing it is happening - it's called highway robbery

The Occupy Wall Street is talking about the government as a corporation do not seek consent, which would be correct in this case.

The very people that "occupy wall street" will be the same people that say "It is not fair that YOU, a dinar investor, received all that money for such a small investment. The only fair thing to do is share it with ALL OF US." Someone tell me that they would not say that, that is the reason we should be as discrete as possible when we cash in!!!! Lets GO RV

Democratic government derives it's "just power????" - Uh, that's the problem. The government must be "limited" in the power it has. The more power the government has - the more it takes control - like a cancer. The more it takes over, the more unjust and corrupt it becomes and the more we give up in the freedom and liberty department. Enter Communism.

The more a government is involved, the more it gets in the way and the more oppressed a nation becomes. The more regulations the government sets into motion, the tighter the stranglehold on any and all businesses, chocking the life out of it’s own progress restricting prosperity and innovation, eliminating the American dream and any advancement right down the line to the actual security of the American family. Jobs disappear, technical creativity diminishes, the desire to work hard to get ahead to create a place in the world for yourself and your children and grandchildren are squelched.

It must be known that to remain a force in the world to provide new technologies, ideas and creative invention to better ALL our lives hinges on the fortitude of the American people, not a rogue, Marxist, power hungry, money spending government. Special interest groups would drop like flies if the had to “fund themselves.” The money from the government which comes from taxpayers to fund these groups is all that keeps them going. They are part of the problem and "rarely part of any real tangible positive anything" in the real world. In fact, they retard and demonize progress and twist logic to a point where anything right becomes wrong and anything wrong becomes right! IS THAT WHAT WE WANT? Get off your tailend and start a business. Come on, America!

The problem is, we are already there, now is the time to "WAKE AMERICANS UP" and take it back. Limit the fed to its 17 enumerated powers and all others are left to the state and to the People. Back to the Common Law! AJ

(Scrappydoo beat me to the punch).

We are not now, nor have we ever been a democracy. The Founders debated what form of government to establish and through that debate discovered that a democracy is fallable and corruptable (sound familiar) and will eventual implode. Therefore, they established a Republic - a nation of laws. We use the democratic process to change leadership, but that's all. When those laws of the land were just and guided by a moral compass, we continually grew and became a great nation. As the country was duped into believing we are a democracy, we teeter on the verge of collapse.

AJAnderson - The Occupy Wall Street is talking about the government as a corporation do not seek consent, which would be correct in this case.

While I understand what they mean - they in fact, are getting the consent from the people, through threat, duress and coercion using intimidation tactics by force, without anyone knowing it - so they actually do get the consent they need from the people's very own authorization in order to do their fiction contracting schemes in order to do the stealing from the people, that OWS and everyone else finds themselves complaining about - a very nefarious design for contracting with the people, who actually are the creditors of this nation and is one of the greatest deceptions of all time -

They are borrowing the peoples credit without them knowing it and never returning it - there was never any full disclosure of the facts at the ti
me of the fiction contract informing the people of what they were actually getting themselves involved in - if they had - the people would not have done it - some very slick stuff indeed

The bigger and more powerful the government, the more it is controled by big corporate money ruled by the fascist beurocratic state. It will wrap the people in teh socialist embrace of protective programs on one side to supply the needs of tbe people in what appears to be a generaous fashion of welfare and medical programs to keep them in subjugation to the corporate slave masters taht continue to fleece the people for anything of value by which they can make gains of money adn power in the international game of power and control. Any country that does not bend it's knee to the powers of the game will have it's knees bent or broken for not submitting to those fighting for absolute power. But there is good abiding where it is not plainly seen and strength holding back teh darkness until the time is right for it to be taken out of the way, that the darkness might consume itself.

Best move to stop doing business with these destructive corporations. As a previous 'front man' for the corrupt corporations used to say 'at this juncture' the best place to hit 'em is in the pocketbook.

So far at this time in history, the ordinary citizen still has freedom of choice at the consumer level....but hurry before your ability is removed and deemed as unnecessary by the incomparable wisdom of the nanny state.
