, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi confirmed, on Sunday, the government's keenness and seriousness in developing the oil industries, while stressing the reduction of dependence on importing fuel products.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News / a copy of it, that “Today, Sunday, Al-Kazemi laid the cornerstone for the project of the fourth gasoline improvement units (CCR) and the hydrogenation of naphtha (NHT) in Basra Governorate, as part of the work of the Southern Projects Commission. Al-Kazemi stressed, "the government's keenness and seriousness to develop the oil industries in Iraq, as it is one of the important pillars of the Iraqi economy and its development, as well as its contribution to increasing financial revenues and reducing dependence on the import of fuel products to reach the stage of self-sufficiency."
