Baghdad / NINA / The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that there is no pressure to return the 2021 general budget to the House of Representatives, and indicated a parliamentary move to amend some articles of its law.

A member of the Committee of Representatives, Ikhlas Al-Dulaimi, said in a statement to the Iraqi National News Agency / NINA /: "There is a movement adopted by some deputies to make an amendment to some articles of the General Budget Law 2021 that the House of Representatives recently voted on."

She added, "The President's approval of the law is an administrative context, and the budget is approved 15 days after the date of the vote." Before the government, which needs to be modified at the time. "

She explained that "the amendment of some articles of the General Budget Law will proceed according to the legislative mechanisms, as it is presented on the agenda for the first and second readings before voting."
