A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Adnan Al-Zorfi, confirmed, on Sunday, that what the deputies propose is not binding on the government.

Al-Zorfi said in an interview with Al-Sabah newspaper, which was followed by Al-Eqtisad News, that the proposals are not necessarily applicable, indicating that the matters that are applicable are those that are presented in the budget law.

He added that the implementation of these proposals is due to the government and the monetary policy of the Central Bank in the process of approving the exchange process, and not to meet the desire of MPs.
