The Government Program Control and Strategic Planning Committee confirmed, on Saturday, that the only and saving solution under the current circumstance is that the government has started placing an amount of 100 million dollars in the Chinese-Iraqi Fund to implement agreements with the People's Republic of China and not to disrupt them.

Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Deputy Muhammad al-Baldawi, said in a statement to "the information", that “all ministries have recruited their administrative and technical bodies to implement their own projects within the Iraqi-Chinese agreement and the government is supposed to start immediately placing 100 million dollars in the fund as it is a prerequisite for the implementation of the agreement projects. “.

He added, "The only solution and implementation necessary under the current circumstance is that the government begins to place the specified amount in the Chinese-Iraqi Fund to implement agreements with the People's Republic of China and not to disrupt it."

Al-Baldawi pointed out that "the forces of the Al-Fateh Alliance and most of the other political forces are among the most important supporters of the implementation of the draft agreement."
