Economic expert Shaker Al-Qazwini considered that the federal budget, which was voted on in the House of Representatives, was an electoral one, not for the benefit of the citizen.

Al-Qazwini said while hosting the eight o'clock newsletter for the "Tigris" satellite channel, "The poor and the simple are the ones who suffer from the repercussions of the budget, which has been passed through settlements and bargains."

He referred to the reduction of the dinar, and said, "It reflected on the citizen and weighed heavily on his shoulders."
