Economy News - Baghdad 

The Iraqi Stock Exchange (the Stock Exchange) announced, on Thursday, that it had organized four trading sessions this week.

The market said in a statement received by "Al-Eqtisad News" that, "The Iraq Stock Exchange organized four trading sessions during the fourth week of March 2021, from Monday March 22/2021 to Thursday March 25/2021."

He added that during the week, 16 billion shares were traded, worth 7 billion dinars.

The trading index closed in the market for the first session of the week at 601.34 points, while the index closed at the end of the week at 586.50 points, achieving a decrease of 2.53% from its close in the first session.

During the week, more than 3000 sale and purchase contracts were executed on the shares of listed companies.
