Parliamentary Finance: The budget determined the proportion of the region and increased the share of the Peshmerga

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Finance Committee confirmed that the parliament will hold a session to discuss the 2021 fiscal budget on Saturday.

A member of the committee, Shirwan Mirza, said in a press statement, "The council will meet tomorrow, Saturday, at five o'clock in the evening, to hold the first reading of the federal budget bill for 2021."

And, "the share of the Kurdistan region in the budget is 12.67%, on the condition that 250 thousand barrels of oil production are delivered with the revenues of its border ports to the federal government."

Mirza added, "The share of the Peshmerga within the Ministry of Defense," stressing "the creation of an increase in the budget of the Peshmerga Kurdistan region, without specifying its percentage from previous years."

It is scheduled that the House of Representatives will hold its regular session tomorrow, Saturday, at five in the evening, and devoted it to the first reading of the draft fiscal budget law for 2021.
