A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, explained that the government has not set a time to send the budget next year to Parliament, pointing out that the speed of voting on the budget in Parliament will depend on a set of factors and paragraphs included in the budget.

Cougar said in a press interview, "Parliament has not received notice about the date of receiving the 2021 budget from the government, as it was hoped that it would be delivered to Parliament before reaching this date."

He added, "According to Financial Management Law No. 11, October 15 has been set as the date for sending the budget from the government to Parliament for discussion and amendment, and then reading and voting."

And that, "Parliament, according to the event that the budget comes from the government, it does not have a specific time to vote on it, as this depends on the method of the budget and the problems present in it and the rights included in it, as well as the chapters and the rest of the details."
