The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, said that he expects a “different deal” from the administration of the Democratic candidate for the US elections, Joe Biden, regarding the Iraqi file.
He explained in his interview with "What to Say" on RT, followed by "Ahed News", that Biden and his Foreign Minister Blinken will give priority to his country's file.
He added, "We do not want Iraq to be an arena of conflict between Iran and the United States," stressing that this had a negative impact on the Iraqis.
He pointed out that he did not expect "a radical change in the US-Iranian conflict."
In another context, Fuad emphasized that the relations between Iraq and Kuwait are strong despite the unfortunate past, and considered Saudi Arabia an important partner for Iraq.
The Iraqi minister stressed his country's rejection of the PKK's activity, stressing at the same time that Turkey has no right to incursion into Iraqi lands.
