Al-Rafidain Bank revealed, on Tuesday, that there is a tendency to reduce the interest rate of loans granted to citizens and employees.

The Iraqi News Agency quoted the bank’s director general as saying, “There is a tendency to reduce interest in all advances and loans granted to citizens and employees after the approval of the concerned authorities,” indicating that “the launch of advances and loans to citizens will take place after the employees’ salaries are distributed. ”

He stressed, "There is a tendency to support and finance the stalled and new strategic projects," noting that "the bank decided to grant interest in advance for fixed deposits deposited by citizens for different periods of time."

Al-Rafidain Bank announced, on Tuesday, that the salaries of those included in the social protection network will be distributed throughout Iraq for the month of November.

The bank’s media office said in a statement, which Al-Iktissad News received a copy of, that “social protection salaries have been distributed to men and women.”

The statement added that "the exchange was done through electronic payment tools, and any citizen included in the salary can receive his salary from our network of branches spread in Baghdad and the provinces, or from private exchange offices or anywhere he is located."
