Economy News - Baghdad

The Parliamentary Finance Committee ruled out passing the second borrowing law in its current form, because it contains a loan of more than 41 trillion dinars.

The reporter of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Ahmed Al-Saffar, said, "It is impossible for parliament to approve the second borrowing law because it contains a very large amount of more than 41 trillion dinars."

He added that the salaries of government employees are obligated to pay them.
