Search Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Kazemi , on Monday, with Alexander Avrntiev Special Envoy of the President of Russia, cooperation at the regional and international levels in facilitating the return of displaced persons and refugees to their areas of residence.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office and reported by the Iraqi News Agency stated that the two sides reviewed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of combating terrorism, as well as discuss ways of cooperation in the field of achieving stability at the regional level, according to policies based on wisdom and dialogue.
During the meeting, Al-Kazemi stressed that the ambition in the level of relations between Iraq and Russia is greater than its current reality, expressing his aspiration to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries, and to exchange visits, despite the limitations currently imposed by the Corona pandemic.
For his part, the Special Envoy conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Al-Kazemi, and the Russian leadership's aspiration to reach better relations between the two countries.
