A statement from the electricity regarding power cuts in the Karkh areas

On Monday, the Ministry of Electricity announced the reason for the power outages in Al-Karkh areas, while it called for rationalizing electrical energy consumption to preserve the electrical system.

The ministry said in a statement that Alsumaria News received, a copy of it: At a time when the Ministry of Electricity and its staff are striving to work under exceptional conditions and economic and health implications to provide an acceptable service to citizens, the Ministry of Electricity notes and draws the attention of our citizens to the occurrence of an emergency technical incident that led to the separation of the super-pressure line ((Taji) _ West Baghdad 400 kV)) and left his work at 15.40 hours, which affected the interruption of nutrition in some areas of the Karkh side of Baghdad.

 

He added, "This coincided with the separation of the aforementioned line and the existence of expansion works for the Basmajah generating station of the vehicle, which required extinguishing the 400 kV high-pressure lines," noting that "the work is carried out by the staff of the ministry on the work of altering the lines ((south of Baghdad - Maseeb 400K) In, and south of Baghdad _ Rashid 400 kV. ().

 

And she emphasized that "the line maintenance teams immediately mobilized to deal with the technical exhibitor that happened and work is underway to repair it and restore the line to work," calling on "citizens to rationalize electrical energy consumption to preserve the electrical system until the maintenance work is completed."
