Civil Defense: Fines against 7,000 for violations of safety

The General Civil Defense Directorate referred seven thousand violating shop owners in Baghdad and the provinces for not adhering to the preventive and safety conditions.

The Director of Relations and Media in the Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, Brigadier General Jawdat Abdel Rahman, said in a special statement to Al-Sabah that the Directorate conducts a check every six months on the shops, stores, institutions and companies in the public and private sectors within the Civil Defense Law No. 44 of 2013, indicating that the violating projects are slowing down. 15 days to provide civil defense, prevention and safety requirements, and then a certificate will be granted when completed.

He continued: Otherwise, the violator is referred to the dismissal session, which is more like a court, headed by the Director General of Civil Defense, and on the basis of which the fine is determined, indicating that the fines are 250 thousand to one million dinars for projects, as for buildings of three floors or more that must contain shelters, they are fined from one million To 15 million dinars.
