6 missiles were launched.  This is on the heals of Al-Kazemi trying to talk Mike Pompeo and them out of closing the U.S. embassy and now other embassies internationally are talking about closing.  This is all bad.  All of this is bad for Iraq.  If the embassies start closing that means they don't feel secure there.  That means it's unstable and this is a hug major blow to what we're trying to achieve both short term and long term...I'm watching the country unite to stop this.

There's a difference between lowering the exchange rate and devaluing the dinar.  Lowering the exchange rate benefits us.  Devaluing the currency is bad for us.  So if they devalued their currency on the exchange side that means you would get more dinar for your dollar.  In other words if they devalued the dinar instead of getting 1190 dinars for every one dollar you might get something like 2000 dinars.  That's because it's cheaper to buy.  Make sure you don't mix them up...exchange rate lowering - good.  Dinar devaluing - bad.

...doing something about the corruption is already bearing fruit there.  The fact that they collect a record number of taxes in the month of September is outstanding.  The fact that they've arrested and are continuing to investigate the people behind the missile attacks and Erbil is outstanding.  This is all great news IMO...It's been more than impressive since al-Kazemi has been in there.  He's been doing everything he said he's going to do.  So far so good...I think a lot more people are starting to get behind Al-Kazemi and making sure that the Iraqi people are secure and that their sovereignty is respected.
