The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced, on Thursday, that it granted during the past period 45 thousand loans to the unemployed, confirming its support for their projects with the aim of absorbing unemployment rates in society.
The Director-General of the Department of Labor and Vocational Training at the Ministry, Raed Jabbar Bahed, said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News" that his department "is preparing a plan to train about 20,000 job seekers annually distributed between Baghdad and the governorates with the aim of developing their capabilities and capabilities so that they can apply for loans in order to contribute to saving life." Generous for them and their families. "
Bahid added that "job seekers will be granted special identities and registered electronically with the aim of preparing a database of their own, indicating that these identities qualify them to be included in the privileges provided by the ministry to the unemployed."
He referred to "coordinating with representatives of the Canadian International Consulting Company to resume training courses for the unemployed, to support their small projects in order to put them in the labor market."
Bahed said, "After resuming their pilot courses, it was emphasized to adhere to the recommendations and directives of the Crisis Cell in Social Distancing, as they will be trained in the form of meals."
He revealed, "The Department of Labor and Vocational Training has obtained the ISO certificate in the field of vocational training, which will contribute to enhancing the actual needs of the labor market and place them in the ranks of international training institutions specialized in vocational training."
