Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein received a phone call from Mr. Djebe Kofoud, the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs.

They discussed bilateral relations, and ways to strengthen them in a way that serves the interests of the two peoples, and Mr. Kovod announced his country's decision to open the Danish embassy in Iraq.

Meanwhile, Minister Fuad Hussein welcomed this decision, as it is important in the context of deepening bilateral relations and achieving the interests of the two countries.

He praised the continuous support provided by the Danish side to Iraq in confronting ISIS terrorist gangs.
