Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi discussed today, Tuesday, with the British ambassador in Baghdad, Stephen Hickey, the security efforts to confront terrorism, in order to enhance security and stability in Iraq and the region
The media office of the Prime Minister said, in a statement that he received a "progress" version of it, that "the Prime Minister, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, received, today, Tuesday, the British ambassador in Baghdad, Stephen Hickey," noting that "during the meeting they discussed the path of bilateral relations between Iraq and the United Kingdom, and ways to develop them, and to consolidate and enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
The statement added, "The current situation, current developments in the region, issues of common concern, and security efforts to counter terrorism were also discussed in order to enhance security and stability in Iraq and the region, in addition to coordinating the effort with international organizations to support the Iraqi economy and government reforms in this field." .
