The commander of the NATO mission in Iraq, Major General Jenny Karenyan, confirmed on Saturday that the Iraqi forces achieved a victory that contributed to making the whole world more secure, noting that the talk about replacing us with the international coalition forces is absolutely incorrect and the coalition has a mission that differs from us.



"The victory and courage of the Iraqi forces made the whole world more secure after the elimination of ISIS, " Karenian said in a televised interview, followed by "The Information."



She added that "NATO is not on a combat mission at all and its presence is limited to sharing its experiences with the Iraqi army and it is continuing to train Iraqi forces."



She explained that "the talk about replacing us with the international coalition forces is absolutely incorrect and the coalition has a mission that differs from us," noting that "the Iraqi forces are moving in the right direction and are continuing to rely entirely on their own capabilities."
