[ltr]The parliamentary agriculture, water and marsh committee said Tuesday that the failure to deal positively with the ban on the entry of imported agricultural and animal products and crops had damaged the economy and the efforts of farmers, farmers and local producers.[/ltr]

[ltr]"The recent period has seen a clear flood of the local market of imported products as if it were a deliberate case of damage to their local products," committee chairman Salam al-Shammari said in a statement received by Economy News.[/ltr]

[ltr]"Most agricultural and animal products and crops have arrived in the country in a state of self-sufficiency and the ministry, with the support of the committee, has begun planning to export surplus to foreign markets," al-Shammari said.[/ltr]

[ltr]"The insistence on the local market with products like that of the local and with a lot of malicious plot to hit the national economy is paid for by farmers and farmers in particular," he said.[/ltr]

[ltr]Al-Shammari reiterated his call for government agencies to "tighten their procedures at border crossings and not allow any product to enter whatever. "We demand that those who cause this great harm be brought to justice on charges of hitting the national economy for the benefit of external parties."[/ltr]
