The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the opening of a page to follow up on citizens whose names did not appear in the emergency grant.

The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Adel Al-Rikabi, said in an interview reported by the official news agency "Waaa" and viewed by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the ministry will open a page for inquiries and follow-up with citizens whose names did not appear in this batch," noting that "within two weeks or more will be completed All releases. "

Al-Rikabi added that "the ministry launched an emergency grant for its beneficiaries through text messages (SMS)," noting that "the launch will be in the form of batches to avoid the crowding that gets to the distribution outlets."

He explained that "the number of families covered by the grant amounted to two million and 432 families and will come to them through phone messages to the head of families confirmed by submission." He pointed out that "the launch of this grant took place after great efforts made by the Ministry of Labor as well as ministries and other support bodies represented by advisers in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers And the Ministry of Commerce and the Office of Financial Supervision, as well as volunteer companies with experience in the field of work and electronic documentation. "

On the other hand, Al-Rikabi stressed that "the ministry launched the third installment of social protection salaries for its beneficiaries after the protection funds were secured despite the difficult financial situation," noting that "the amount allocated to this installment is 391 billion dinars."

He continued that "there is a decision of the Council of Ministers that includes a directive to the Ministry of Labor and through a committee from the Ministry of Finance as well as the Ministry of Planning to expand the coverage of the social protection network because of the high poverty rates during this circumstance and the crisis that spanned several months."
