"
Al-Kazemi thanked, according to the statement, "the French ambassador and conveyed his greetings to French President Emmanuel Macron and his aspiration to receive him in Baghdad when the opportunity comes," stressing that "the relationship with France extends for a long time, and is embodied in the political, security and economic fields."
The two sides discussed, "the activity of French companies in the liberated areas, as well as the capital, Baghdad, as well as the exchange of ideas about initiatives that enable Iraq to play its role in achieving stability in the region and the world."
