The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company "SOMO" announced, on Tuesday, the final statistics of oil exports for the month of March, noting that the revenues from them amounted to nearly 3 billion dollars.

The company said on its official website, and it was viewed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the total quantities of exported crude oil for the month of March, according to the final statistic, the amount of exports of crude oil reached 105 million and 118 thousand and 523 barrels, with revenues amounting to 2 billion and 962 million and 429 thousand dollars."

She added that "the total quantities of crude oil exported from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to 101 million and 392 thousand and 918 barrels, with revenues amounting to 2 billion, 883 million and 433 thousand dollars, while the quantities exported from Kirkuk oil through the port of Ceyhan were 3 million and 287 thousand And 439 barrels, with revenues of 73 million, 848 thousand and 454 dollars. "

She pointed out that the quantities exported from the Qayyarah field amounted to 129 thousand and 49 barrels, with revenues amounting to 255 thousand and 387 dollars, while the quantities exported to Jordan amounted to 309 thousand and 117 barrels, with revenues amounting to 4 million, 893 thousand and 24 dollars.

She explained that the average price per barrel amounted to 28,182 dollars, "noting that" the quantities exported were loaded by 38 international companies of various nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Amaya, and unilateral buoys on the Gulf and the Turkish port of Ceyhan. "

And Iraq exports most of its crude oil through the Basra port and in smaller quantities through the Turkish Ceyhan and truck tankers to Jordan.

The Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO) announced, on Wednesday, that the Indian oil companies were the most buyers of Iraqi oil during the month of March.

Sumo said in an official statistic published on its official website and seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "Indian companies were the most numerous among other international companies buying Iraqi oil and by 8 companies out of 38 companies that purchased Iraqi oil during the month of March."

Sumo added that "Chinese companies came in second place with 5 companies, followed by American companies with 4 companies and then South Korean companies with 3 companies and then Japanese, Turkish, British, Greek, Russian and Italian companies with two companies each", indicating that "the rest was distributed among the companies Egyptian, Jordanian, Malaysian, Indonesian, Taiwanese, and Spanish, with one company each.

Sumo indicated that it "depends in its sale of Iraqi oil on the main criteria for contracting with the major international oil companies, independent and government integrated vertically", noting that "the most prominent international companies that bought Iraqi oil are the American Oxon Mobil Company, British BP, Malaysian Petronas, South Korean Cocas and Eni Italian".
