The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research decided, on Sunday, to reduce the school wages for students in the morning private public education by 75% of the fixed wages.

The Ministry’s Undersecretary for Scientific Research Affairs said, in a statement received by “Al-Iqtisad News”, that “the Ministry of Education decided to set the study wages for morning private public education students at a rate of (75%) of the current wages specified for the specializations in the Student Affairs Procedures Manual, and the inclusion of students Those transferred from outside Iraq according to the international morning private education channel.

He pointed out that "this measure was exceptional considering the nature of environmental and health conditions."

Mohamed added that "the ministry reduced the study fees for evening studies students by (25%) from the current fixed wages and authorizing the supervising authority at the university to increase the reduction rate, provided that it does not exceed (50%) in relation to humanitarian cases estimated by the authority for the years 2019-2020."
