...I wouldn't be so broad is to say nothing happened a lot has happened over the last few years...just not what most are looking for...no doubt there hasn't been any Improvement in the exchange rate but there has been progress over the last several years to diversify the economy. And that will have to continue if this plan of raising the value will ever work...The IMF doesn't want countries pegged. They want them to float and let the world decide the value of their currency. Eventually that will have to happen if Iraq gets substantial investment. (Some 60 billion dollars) to rebuild that they are wishing for.
