Hi Everyone,

I bring you much news today.

There may seem like much chaos now happening in Iraq but we are very close to the end of getting Allawi official powers as the new prime minister. One way or the other they will get him ratified. So today, Thursday, was supposed to be the day they voted. The vote was not taken today and postponed again. Why?

Today’s newsletter is all about the ridiculous drama that has taken place. I swear these politicians are like babies and need to get a good spanking to shape them up. But it is the Iranians at it again and they know their days are numbered once Allawi gets into power. Remember my video – “Three Men, Three Countries, Three Miracles – God’s Hand at Work”. Please let us not forget about what is really going on here and not so much about filling our greedy little pockets once the CBI reinstates the dinar. These are the signs God wants us to see and understand. This goes beyond us!

BLOOMBERG: CORONAVIRUS COULD HAMMER IRAN’S ECONOMY

(2/25/20)

Iran is now one the epicenters of the novel coronavirus outbreak outside of China: officials have reported 61 confirmed cases of the virus, resulting in at least 12 deaths. Some reports suggest the true numbers could be much higher than Tehran is letting on. Iran’s neighbors, including major export markets Iraq and Turkey, have closed their borders and canceled air travel.
These restrictions could remain in place for months, and will hammer the Iranian economy, which had been showing signs of recovery following 18 months of deep recession triggered by the Trump administration’s reposition of secondary sanctions in November 2018.

ERBIL — The United States on Wednesday designated Ahmad al-Hamidawi, the leader of the Iranian-backed Iraqi militia group Kataib Hezbollah, as a global terrorist.

The militia group itself has been designated by the US as a terrorist organization since 2009. The group operates under the umbrella of government-backed Hashd al-Shaabi which is closely linked to Iran.

US counterterrorism coordinator, Nathan Sales, announced the decision from the State Department, and said that Kataib Hezbollah “actively uses violence and terror against innocent civilians to advance the Iranian regime goal of making Iraq a vassal state.”

He also held the group responsible for the attack on the US embassy last December in Baghdad.

UPDATE: ONGOIING SAGA ON VOTING PROCESS FOR ALLAWI

Thursday February 27, 2020.

(Mnt Goat - As we all know the voting process in parliament was scheduled for 4 pm this afternoon, Baghdad time. It did not occur. So here is drama that followed:

Representatives from the Al-Fateh Alliance told Nina's correspondent that the official Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi received a letter from the political blocs recommending that the candidates for his cabinet be changed if he wanted to give him confidence and his government in the Saturday session.

(Mtn Goat - Then we hear about Halbousi not even wanting to even have the session to vote. So why did he schedule it for Thursday then on the agenda? ):

KURDS CHANGE THEIR MINDS

02/27/2020

Shafaq News / Representatives of the Kurdish blocs in the Iraqi parliament decided, Thursday, not to vote to pass the government of Muhammad Allawi after differences.

The decision came after a meeting of the Kurds, in which they decided to remain on their position not to participate in voting on the cabinet.
The decision came after information of Shafak News, with the failure of negotiations between Allawi and the Kurds, regarding participation in his government.

The Kurds object to the mechanism adopted by the Prime Minister-designate in selecting candidates for his cabinet, as the Kurds require that the Kurdistan Region, through its main parties, present candidates exclusively to government positions, while Allawi insists on nominating the government formation by him.

(Mnt Goat – Oh wait a second. Didn’t they just tell us the Kurds were onboard with Allawi’s new government? So how did this all change on the day of the voting?)

DISAGREEMENT ERUPTED BETWEEN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER MUHAMMAD AL-HALBOUSI AND HIS DEPUTY, HASSAN AL-KAABI

Baghdad / news
Disagreement erupted between Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and his deputy, Hassan al-Kaabi, over the convening of the extraordinary session to vote on the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi.

A parliamentary source told Al-Ikhbaria that “a dispute broke out between Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al-Halbousi and his deputy, Hassan Al-Kaabi, regarding holding the extraordinary session to vote on the cabinet of Prime Minister Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi.”

He explained that “Al-Kaabi insists that the session be held and Halbousi demands postponement,” noting that “there is also a dispute over the confidentiality of the meeting and announcing the session.”

(MNT GOAT -then this meeting took place next, as the drama continued in IRAQ today….)

Al-Ghad Press correspondent said that the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohamed Al-Halbousi, received the Prime Minister-designate, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, in his office in the presence of his first deputy, Hassan Al-Kaabi.

(Mnt Goat – so the voting session has been moved to Saturday officially and maybe even Sunday unofficially)

PARLIAMENT THEN DECIDEs TO POSTPONE ITS SPECIAL SESSION

02/27/2020

Shafaq News / The Iraqi parliament decided to postpone its special session to vote on the government of Muhammad Allawi, until next Saturday.
The decision came after disputes, some of which resulted in a quarrel between Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi and his deputy, Hassan al-Kaabi, over the controversial session.

The dispute occurred between Al-Halbousi Al-Kaabi, due to the announcement of the postponement of the session on the passing of the government of Muhammad Allawi, which was rejected by Al-Kaabi and demanded that the attendance of the representatives present in the parliament session be checked.

For the government to obtain the confidence of Parliament, an absolute majority (50% +1) is required for the number of members present (not the total number).

According to Shafak News sources, only 105 deputies were present in the parliament session out of 329 deputies.

A parliamentary source told Shafak News, that the Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi called for a session of granting confidence next Saturday, while Parliament Speaker Muhammad Al-Halbousi urged that it be held on Sunday, which called Al-Halbousi to hold a meeting with all the leaders of political blocs to resolve a deadline to vote on the government.

He added that the last decision went with the holding of the extraordinary session next Saturday.

(Mnt Goat – can’t even hold a voting session unless there is a quorum. I thought they kept telling us Allawi had the majority in his favor so why don’t they show up to parliament and vote? I will tell you why. It is because they are being bullied by the Iranians. They are afraid to even show up.)

The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, issued a clarification on Tuesday regarding the latter's attendance on the day of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi's mandate to form the transitional government.

The office stated in a statement received by / Mawazine News / a copy of it, that he "would like to clarify the proceedings of the presence of the Speaker of Parliament on the day of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi's appointment to the President's house."

He added, "The Speaker of the House of Representatives had received an invitation from the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, to attend lunch at the second of February.

The President of the Republic has also requested that the ceremony of assigning Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi be conducted in an official and publicly announced manner and in the presence of the Speaker, but the latter was of his opinion that Commissioning ceremony is not one of the tasks of the Speaker of Parliament, and he left the house after it, and during the exit he met with the taxpayer at the gate and greetings were exchanged, and the media published the President of the Republic alone and formally and publicly commissioning Hamad Tawfiq Allawi.

In ending I want everyone to know your constant prayers in the fight against evil (ISIS) and now the corruption in Iraq have worked. God has guided these young men and women on the battle field. He has guided the honest, patriots of Iraq to fight for their homeland. So this new war now on our citizens is underway. New battles are raging every day over corruption. These are battles to save our societies from the corrupt politicians and secret societies who are bent on taking what they want from our current wealth and from future generations without our permission. We must keep praying for the end to the rapid corruption and enslavement of people in Iraq and also in the United States. We must pray for our leaders that they may be anointed by the Holy Spirit and guided to do God’s work. We must stand by them and let them know we are still there to support them, even after the election is over. I have composed a prayer maybe we can all pray today in our own way and until the reinstatement of the Iraq dinar occurs.

PRAYER

“For all leaders of all nations, that they may be anointed by the Holy Spirit to do God’s will and work to bring about abundance and prosperity to their nation.

To fight this waging war on corruption, our freedoms, our liberties, socialist plans and injustice.

To bring all those corrupt to justice and pay for their crimes no matter how high up in the government they are.

That the FREE WORLD may be a shining example for the rest of the entire planet.

In the name of Jesus Christ our King and Savior, Amen”
