Deputy Mizar Hammadi Sultan, Chairman of the Tribes, Accountability and Reconciliation Committee, met on Monday 2/22/2020 Brigadier Nasser Al-Nuri, Director General of Tribal Affairs in his interior ministries.


During the meeting, they discussed the problems and obstacles facing the Iraqi society, especially the demonstrations that started in various governorates in recent months.
The two sides stressed the importance of the tribes' role in those protests by educating the youth on the need to preserve public and private money, not to attack security forces, not to allow outlaws to tamper with the country's capabilities, and divert the path of protests from the noble goals for which the protesters went out.


At the end of the meeting, Mr. Mizar Hammadi, Chairman of the Tribes, Accountability and Reconciliation Committee handed a shield and a letter of thanks to Mr. Director General of Tribal Affairs in appreciation of his efforts over three years in resolving the clan dispute between the Khafaga and Khazraj clans, which was reconciled and reconciled between the two clans in accordance with the law, customs and clans.
