The Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and the Minister of Finance receives the Dutch Chargé d'Affairs to Baghdad

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Fouad Hussein, received at the Library of Baghdad on February 10, 2020, Mr. Chard Hoxstra, the Dutch Chargé d'Affairs in Baghdad and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Kingdom of the Netherlands and discussed the best ways to improve the level of the relationship between the two friendly countries.
The political reality that the region is witnessing in general and Iraq in particular regarding the efforts to form a new government in a manner commensurate with the aspirations of the Iraqi people was discussed.
In the same context, the Deputy Prime Minister indicated that the Iraqi people are looking for a government capable of preparing all security, political and economic requirements for holding early elections.
For his part, the Dutch Chargé d'Affaires affirmed his country's full support for the government and people of Iraq, as he expressed his country's readiness to attract and train cadres of the Ministry of Finance, especially with regard to preparing the program budget. As it was agreed to send a cadre of the Ministry of Finance with the aim of training at the hands of Dutch experts in Amman.
