Economy News - Baghdad:



The Minister of Transport, Abdullah Laibi, revealed the number of passengers who were transported on the aircraft of the national carrier during the year 2019 to and from the airports operating in the country.

 Laibi said in a press statement: The statistics issued by the General Company for Iraqi Airways showed that the total number of passengers during the year 2019 amounted to about two million and 234 thousand and 575 passengers, distributed among direct flights that visited the various local, regional and international sectors of the 34 destinations via airports ( Baghdad, Basra, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Najaf, Nasiriyah).

And that this increase in the number of travelers confirms the extent of the traveler’s confidence in the green bird, which is keen on its comfort through working to provide distinguished services for it .
