The Parliamentary Committee supervising the implementation of the Samarra Law, the capital of Iraq for Islamic civilization, discussed with the Executive Committee that the law defines the priorities of the projects that will be launched in the coming days in the Holy City, by selecting the discreet and well-known companies with similar activities to advance the ancient city of Samarra.

The Chairman of the Committee, Deputy Muthanna Abdul Samad Al-Samarrai and the members of the Committee, while hosting the Executive Committee chaired by the President of the University of Samarra and the membership of a number of officials of the official departments in the Parliament Building today, stressed the necessity of referring large projects in the coming days to companies that have a long history of work in order not to waste Time and accelerate the reconstruction of the city and its heritage sites and holy shrines in it.

The supervising Parliamentary Committee heard a detailed review by the Chairman and members of the Executive Committee and the most important steps and reasons for the delay in commencement of the referral, and fruitful cooperation was agreed to resolve all issues that impede the completion of projects.

The meeting discussed a number of topics, including restructuring the sub-committees, giving importance to the necessary projects, announcing the projects according to the laws in force, and canceling the calls of previous companies in order to choose companies that can carry out the tasks entrusted to them without delay.

The Parliamentary Committee expressed its readiness to overcome the bureaucratic obstacles and procedures facing the Executive Committee in order to fulfill the requirements of the law and show the city in its best form to the tourists and visitors.
