The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nuri Sabah Al-Dulaimi, announced on Monday, 12-12-2019, the approval of the launch of an exchange of 77 billion and 370 million dinars, to improve the service reality in the governorates of Najaf, Maysan and Wasit, after their local governments have completed the requirements for listing projects.

In order to provide facilities for youth projects and capabilities, the Minister directed to grant the relevant authorities in the central and local governments the authority to direct referral in various businesses, to companies or contractors of Iraqi youth not classified, except for the contracting methods in the implementation of government contracts and instructions for implementing the budget in force, according to the controls Direct referral mentioned in Cabinet Resolution No. 341 of 2019.

Dr. Nuri Al-Dulaimi explained that the sum of (36 billion and 250 million dinars) was approved within the annual allocations included in the investment budget tables for Wasit Governorate, to supply modern electricity transformers, qualify and implement electrical networks, supply and operate a medical liquid oxygen plant, rehabilitate the Aziziyah General Hospital, and establish Water complexes of various capacities and capacities with modern networks in the counties and districts of the governorate, the establishment of an immediate ambulance center in the Al-Battar region, and the implementation of a number of municipal services according to the needs of citizens.

With the approval of an amount (31 billion and 120 million dinars) for the Maysan Governorate, calculated on the basis of the annual allocations included in the investment budget tables for the implementation of 32 modern school buildings in the counties and areas of the province.

The Minister of Planning also indicated his approval of an amount of 10 billion dinars for the province of Najaf, calculated on the basis of the annual allocations included in the investment budget tables within the regions development program to maintain, equip and rehabilitate heavy water pumps of various sizes, and implement a number of municipal services projects in the counties, districts and villages of the governorate as needed Citizens.
