With the continued protests calling for reform in Baghdad and a number of other provinces, we witnessed this week painful and unfortunate clashes between the demonstrators and the protesters and the security men and others, has resulted in the loss of more innocent blood and the large number of casualties on both sides of various injuries, and coincided with the burning assault Many public and private property is looted.

The bloodshed that has flowed over the past weeks is precious to all of us and it is necessary to work to prevent the spilling of more, and never allow the country to slip into the shadows of internal fighting, chaos and devastation, which is possible if everyone cooperated to resolve the current crisis with sincere intentions and souls full of love for Iraq and care for its future .

The religious authority reaffirms its well-known position on condemning the exposure of peaceful demonstrators and all kinds of unjustified violence, and the need to hold those responsible to account, and stresses the concerned authorities not to bring the combat forces any of its addresses in dealing with sit-ins and peaceful demonstrations, for fear of being drawn into further violence.

Respecting the will of Iraqis to determine the political and administrative system of their country through a referendum on the constitution and periodic elections to the House of Representatives is the principle that the religious authority has adhered to and emphasized since the previous regime change. However, the necessary reform and must be carried out in this regard is also entrusted to choose the Iraqi people in all its colors and colors from the far end of the country to the maximum, and not any person or group or party with a certain orientation or any regional or international party to confiscate the will of Iraqis in this and impose His opinion on them.

We appeal to all parties to reflect on the present and future of Iraq and do not prevent them from passing emotions or special interests from taking the right decision in this regard, which is in the best interest of this country and its goodness and prosperity.
