A high-level delegation from the Parliament of Kurdistan to the Iraqi capital Baghdad, on Tuesday evening, at the invitation of the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament Mohammed Halbousi.
The Presidency of the Parliament of Kurdistan said in a statement read (Basnews): «At the invitation of the official Mohammed al-Halbousi, the President of the Iraqi Council of Representatives headed today 3/9/1919 a parliamentary delegation headed by Heman Hawrami, deputy speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament included a number of members of parliament from various parliamentary blocs to Baghdad At the meeting of the Standing Committee for Budget and Planning of the Association of Asian Parliaments ».
The statement added that «it is scheduled to hold a high parliamentary delegation after participating in the opening ceremony of the meeting and within his visit to Baghdad a number of meetings with the Kurdish blocs and Iraqi blocs in the Iraqi Council of Representatives and a number of government and party figures».
