Ambassador HE Dr. Wadih Betty with the President of the Canadian Institute of Governance, Mr. Toby Fife and Mr. Mohammed Abdul Karim, Executive Program Officer at the Canadian Governance Institute Building, ways to develop the work of Iraqi institutions in order to prepare specialized and technically trained cadres in all government sectors. A detailed explanation of all the field tours conducted by the Institute in a number of Iraqi governorates, and what are the consequences of these tours, in order to work on the preparation of training courses for leading cadres in various Iraqi provinces and in cooperation with the relevant authorities in these provinces

For his part, the ambassador stressed the importance of developing government institutions as a top priority for the Iraqi government, adding that attention to areas liberated from ISIS gangs and the implementation of rehabilitation programs and preparation for government cadres will contribute to the provision of services to citizens as soon as possible.
