The Finance Committee, headed by MP Dr. Haitham al-Jubouri on Thursday 1/8/2019 an explanatory statement on the circulation of segment segmented through the media the existence of fraud obtained in the federal budget law for the year 2019.

The Committee noted that the second opinion was adopted by forming a governmental committee according to the Secretariat's book no. (38989) dated 7/11/2018, where it met with the Finance Committee under its previous chairmanship (age presidency) twice to agree on some amendments to be submitted to the Council of Ministers The final to the House of Representatives.

The Finance Committee pointed out that it issued the second version and after reading the first reading of the Ministry of Finance No. (25064) dated 11/12/2018 where some of the required amendments indicate that the Minister of Finance is authorized to follow up the amendment of the draft budget by the Council of Ministers as well as the existence of a new book from the Council of Ministers (73) on 2/1/2019 with the addition of a new copy of the draft budget law containing an amendment to Article (10) and revised tables and sent to the Finance Committee on 10/1/2019.

The Committee has made an amendment to some texts and the powers vested in it in this regard.

The Financial Committee pointed out that among the amended texts is the text of Article (10) in full, since it was rephrased and its essence in line with the agreement of blocs and the public interest, noting that the vote was moved on the budget law. Of the previous presidency (presidency of the age) that the amendment to the text of Article (10) was without the knowledge of the Ministry of Finance was not submitted to the Council of Ministers, but sent directly to the House of Representatives by the State Committee to amend the budget through the book of the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers mentioned Enva and No. 44153) On 19/12/2018.

BAGHDAD -

A member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Jamal Kuger, on Monday, the existence of violations of the budget law by Finance Minister Fouad Hussein, stressing that the disbursement of funds for the region was legal and according to the law.
