The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers carries out a field trip to the Kish-Hilla road project

The project follow-up team included in the government program in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers carried out a field trip to the Kish-Hilla Highway project.

The team conveyed the directives of the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers to expedite the completion of the project and abide by schedules and timelines set by the Ministry of Construction, Housing, Municipalities and Public Works through quarterly reports.

The resident engineer of the project, the interest of the Minister of Construction and Housing, Municipalities and Public Works, the project, through continuous follow-up, to complete the work of the project, all branches and accessories, within the planned times, the end of the current year.

The rehabilitation of the road includes the construction of four wheel-drive gauges, four pedestrian crossings, two railway bridges, service roads and a 16-km side road, as well as lighting, barriers and traffic signs.

The 13 km long road links the international road in Hilla and the Middle Euphrates governorates.
