The Minister of Planning, Dr. Nuri Sabah al-Dulaimi, announced on Wednesday the ratification of the release of 91 billion and 542 million dinars to finance the investment projects of the Secretariat of Baghdad within the plan this year, as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Planning to improve the reality of service in the capital Baghdad.

Dr. Nouri al-Dulaimi, during his meeting with the ministry's directorate, Abdullah al-Kanani, and the delegation accompanying him, highlighted the vision of the Ministry of Planning to enable local governments to balance their budgets and consolidate possible efforts to provide sustainable services to citizens.

Stressing the support of the Ministry of Planning for the implementation of more vital projects in the province of Baghdad and the districts and the areas and villages associated with them, especially with regard to the sectors of health and education and municipal services, pointing to the need to invest budgets approved in the resumption of the implementation of vital projects with high achievement.

For his part, the delegation expressed its sincere appreciation to the Minister of Planning and the procedures he addressed during the meeting, stressing the contribution of these measures in strengthening the efforts of the local government in providing the best services to citizens.
