Nineveh Governor Mansour al-Mouraid announced on Sunday that French companies will be established to rehabilitate and renovate Mosul International Airport, which went out of business during the period of the Da'ash control.
"The French companies have begun rehabilitation and reconstruction of Mosul International Airport, which went out of work after being subjected to several bombings during the control of the gangs and called the terrorist," Al-Maraid said in an interview with the official newspaper "Al-Sabah".
He added that the French side had received the reconstruction project of Mosul International Airport after the acceptance of the loan by the Prime Minister and the duration of the work of completion and rehabilitation of the airport takes a full year starting from the construction on Saturday.
