kaperoni: What this quote is saying is…they are absorbing (collecting) dinar by offering high interest rates for those who have a bank account and deposit their money in their account rather than spend it. That is how they remove these notes. More on this in a few minutes.

kaperoni: “The Iraqi economy has witnessed unprecedented serious inflation based on the totality of press reports and summary of seminars and economic studies”
kaperoni: This is a revealing quote…it is telling us that all the “delete 3 zero” articles, seminar (symposiums we mentioned months ago) have now caused a serious problem for the CBI. That problem is inflation. Clearly, that is a result of not implementing this RV within the timeframe the CBI wanted to. That also tells us that this event is late…that it should have happened already. Therefore, everyone should be aware this can happen at any moment…any day.

kaperoni: We know the Council of Ministers approved this, as well as Parliamentary Committee back in July – Aug. Therefore, IMO this may very well already be done.

kaperoni: Now we talked about that a few weeks ago with the transcript from the WB and Imf. That the banking reforms started in 2007.

kaperoni: This is exactly what we have been saying…that first we will see the RV. Which will “delete the 3 zeros” and the process where citizens in Iraq start to buy things at the new rate and exchange rate. It is my feeling that the CBI will release smaller denoms at that point to provide notes such as a ½, 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, etc. These notes were printed back in 2003 with the larger 3 zero notes. These new notes will serve two purposes…. 1. These will support the RV as Iraqi’s trade in there larger notes for these smaller notes to be used for purchases. 2. These will be used during the transition to the new 3 language notes that will be printed. Now I may be wrong about this procedure…but it really does not matter as we only care about the initial stage…which is the RV.
kaperoni: My friend the Arabic translator also looked at this article…and this is what he had to say…
kaperoni: “The new article's translation is very close to the Arabic text and states that they are ready to proceed with the release of the new currency and that the release will be complete within the next 3 to 4 years, and that the new currency will be in 3 languages and that the coins as well will be in 3 languages. “

kaperoni: We did see a few weeks ago, that the Wb/imf mentioned that the Isx and “securities law” will need updating. This clearly has an effect on the monetary policy. International transactions (investment) need transactional laws comparable to other countries. Though in recent days we have seen several articles pertaining to the Isx (which are positive), I have not seen any related “securities or investment” law or laws updated. Therefore, this law may still be a holdup.

And as stated at the beginning of the chat, the other article made it clear, that they are removing the notes.
kaperoni: So that is what is holding this up.

Short version - All good, looks like we need final formation of GOI to happen and for a unknown ammount of LD to be pulled from the market before RV. Hope that Shabs has got everything he needs from Parliment because the leave for vaction and don't come back until Nov 20th. Oh almost forgot the beto parts you realy wanted, rate looks to be around the 1:1 and the date, well it should have already happened so it could be now through Nov 21 when they get back from a pilgrimage.

Thats the short version IMHO, not responsible for misinterpetions or the fact that my mind may not be functioning correctly or the stars and planet may be a little mis aligned.

I read it all...every article is pointing to the RV coming and the need for it...

Kaparoni says leave it to the gurus to interpret...

Issue is timing as vacation will be until nov. 20 th, so need to get er done before or we' ll be waiting again

All looks good, probably $1.00 to 1 dinar, no lop.

Only issue is that many banks may not be ready to assist CBI properly with the reval...

I take the chat as great, but most Gurus would be calling it from all this....Kaparoni just states the facts and interprets...

JUMISS- Thanks I try to bring a little levity to what most people are stressing over. It will happen in Gods time. It is a very complicated situation in Iraq, we also make it more complicated as outsiders tring our best to read into all of it for the RV, then the PTB try to controll and manipulate them as well. What we all need to remember is that God truly is in control. So relax put a smile on your face and enjoy the ride.

RV @ 1 to 1 doesn't even pay the Parliament never mind all the new contracts given in the last three months. Also, every currency trader in the world will be buying up the country Smile
