{Wasit: Euphrates News} Wasit Governor Mohammed Jamil al-Mayahi revealed the allocation of more than 25 billion for the construction and maintenance of major roads in the province.

"We presented another service plan to the Wasit Governorate Council and voted for it," Al-Mayahi said in a statement. "We have focused on it to develop roads in response to the appeals of the people and their repeated complaints about the roads. And maintenance and maintenance in public and rural roads through the Department of Roads and Bridges, and the establishment of an integrated effort to the road department includes an advanced asphalt plant and specialized mechanisms and operational budget.

He added that "this configuration is capable of immediate maintenance of roads and any place in the province, and the allocation of 4 billion to rehabilitate the road, [Kut_Baghdad] is initiated in the coming weeks after the approval of the Ministry of Planning."

"We devoted the greatest revenue from the border port to develop, rehabilitate and cover many main roads, sub-roads, village roads and rural areas."
