The Secretary of the House of Representatives Mr. Sirwan Abdullah Sereni met on Monday 1/7/2019 with Mrs. Karen 
Brunson, Director of the Political Section of the US Embassy in Baghdad.
Mrs. Brunson presented her congratulations and congratulations to the Secretary-General on his assumption of his post as Secretary-General of the House of Representatives.
The meeting discussed the framework of cooperation between the two sides and the strengthening of bilateral relations and strengthening the role of the Council of Representatives and the importance of its position as a legislative and regulatory institution, as well as communication during the next phase between the two sides.
