The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naeem Al-Ghazi, invited Australian companies to invest in Iraq in the fields of public, electricity, housing and education projects in particular and the importance of establishing relations and future cooperation between Iraq and Australia in vital fields and disciplines in all fields.

The Secretary General of the Council of Ministers expressed his appreciation for the logistical support provided by the Australian Government, the training and rehabilitation of the Iraqi army and the provision of relief programs and humanitarian assistance in IDP camps.

He pointed out that the main priorities of the government's reform plan are to provide basic services to citizens such as electricity, water and sewage, energy, roads, bridges and housing, as well as focus on reconstruction projects in the governorates of Iraq in general and exchange experiences with developed countries, , To activate vital projects important.

He stressed the importance of strengthening relations and future cooperation between Iraq and Australia in the disciplines and vital projects dealing with water resources management, investment, industry, agriculture, military programs, economic development and relief programs and benefit from Australian experience in these areas.

The two sides discussed ways to improve the status of women in Iraq and their active participation in all fields and the next steps to the draft law against domestic violence in Iraq, pointing to the need to adopt a unified vision of the role of women in society.
