The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Al-Ghazi, called on Diwaniyah Investment Commission to cooperate with the sectoral departments in the province to activate the investment side in it, in order to activate its local economy and maximize its resources .

He added, during his chairmanship of the seventy-ninth session of the Committee on investment projects lagging, which was held in the Secretariat building, in the presence of the Chairman of the Supreme Commission for Coordination between the provinces d. Said that the province of Diwaniyah from the provinces that need to combine the efforts of its local administration through the development of strategic plans and projects that support the requirements of changing their economic and service reality, directed at activating the investment side in order to activate the economy throughout the country .

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of Diwaniyah Investment Authority and the representatives of the implementing companies of Al Zahraa and Al Salam Housing Projects. They reviewed the reasons for the low levels of achievement in the Al Salam City Housing Project implemented by the Cala Company and Al Zahra Housing Project implemented by Ajman Company .

The meeting recommended that the National Investment Authority to extend the period of time to complete the Zahraa project after the investor undertook to complete it within six months.
