Minister of Planning Dr. Nouri Sabah al-Dulaimi, on Monday, allocated 30 billion dinars to fight poverty in Baghdad province, while the minister revealed the ministry's strategy to resume the stalled projects in the districts and districts of the capital and seek to implement more vital projects.

This came during an extended meeting chaired by Dr. Nuri al-Dulaimi in the presence of Mr. Falah al-Jazairi, Governor of Baghdad and Dr. Riyad Al-Adadh, Chairman of the Provincial Council and Advanced Staff of the Ministry of Planning and Baghdad Governorate, during which he discussed ways to implement vital projects in the districts and districts of Baghdad, including the construction of 146 schools , A number of health centers and hospitals, the implementation of drinking water and sewage projects, and the rehabilitation of roads.

He also called on the Minister of Planning Baghdad province to prepare an investment plan to allow large or idle projects investment opportunities to the private sector, including the rehabilitation of the five entrances to the capital, and the construction of stores and specialized centers for commercial exchange, and seek to provide more employment opportunities.

For his part, the governor of Baghdad expressed his sincere appreciation for the efforts of the Minister of Planning and the procedures that he directed to implement during the meeting, stressing the contribution of these measures in supporting the efforts of the local government and enabling them to provide more services.

The President of the Council praised the efforts of the Ministry of Planning and its efforts to provide appropriate conditions for the resumption of the implementation of projects, and to overcome the difficulties facing the relevant bodies in the province and the Secretariat of Baghdad; through direct field visits.

The meeting witnessed the agreement to form a joint team of the Ministry of Planning and the province of Baghdad to follow up the implementation of vital projects in the capital according to procedures and treatments agreed upon.
