Economy News _ Baghdad

The Directorate of Agriculture of Karbala, on Tuesday, reached the quantities marketed from the wheat and barley crops to marketing outlets for more than 27379 until the moment.

The Directorate said in a statement received by "Economy News" a copy, "The quantities marketed from wheat and barley to the marketing outlets amounted to more than 27379 tons so far."

He added that "the process of marketing the wheat crop is carried out through the port of the General Company for grain trade branch of Karbala," indicating that "the process of harvesting and marketing continues."

The Directorate expected "marketing more than 56 thousand tons of wheat crop this year within the agricultural plan after the approval of the Ministries of Agriculture and Trade to receive quantities of wheat produced outside the plan."
