A constant disagreement between the reform and construction coalition has prevented the candidates from running for defense and interior

BAGHDAD, May 5 (KUNA) - The leader of the Al-Sadr Alliance, Raed Fahmi, said on Sunday that the reform and construction blocs have submitted their defense and interior candidates to Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

Fahmy added in a press statement that, "resolving the ministerial file during the next two weeks is unlikely because of differences in views between the blocks on the candidates of the remaining vacant ministries," pointing out that "the Prime Minister seeks to vote the House of Representatives on the remaining ministries in one session."

He pointed out that "the blocks in reform and construction submitted candidates to the Ministries of Defense and Interior to the Prime Minister for some time," stressing that "the problems that hampered the passage of these ministries in the past have not been resolved and still exist between the coalition of reform and construction."

On April 23, Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi confirmed that the political forces had reached an "end" to resolve the names of the candidates for the vacant ministries, a day after a meeting with Parliament Speaker Mohamed Halboussi.

Prior to that announced the coalition of the completion of the cabinet cab of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, while the Minister of the Interior will be one of the military leaders who made victory on the daisy.
