The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Bassem Abdulzman, said Friday that the future private sector pension system will ease the trend towards the public sector because of the privileges that match the retirement benefits of government employees.

"The next private sector pension system will have a significant impact on easing the pressure and going to the public sector because of the retirement benefits that are similar to the retirement benefits of public sector employees," Abdel-Zaman said in a statement obtained by the newspaper.

He explained that "the ministry and its strategy in the elimination of unemployment and its efforts to create a balance between the private and public sectors have prepared a pension system for employees within the private sector integrated professional and practical aspects will be through its implementation, a clear shift towards the establishment of private projects by job seekers.

"The ministry is in the process of signing a memorandum of understanding with the International Labor Organization (ILO) on decent work," the minister said. "The ministry is waiting for the comments of the social partners (unions and unions) on the memorandum.

"The status of the Iraqi side will be represented by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs because the Memorandum of Understanding is legally established by three parties (ministry, partners and labor organization) And Iraqi national targets. "
