150 countries including Iraq in the Arab Travel Market in Dubai

launched two days ago in the Dubai Exhibition "Arabian Travel Market 2019", which is the event 's largest travel and tourism in the area of industry , the Middle East , in the presence of the most prominent specialists and experts in the hospitality industry, travel and tourism from all over the world, involved some 150 countries , including Iraq. 

The head of the Iraqi Tourism Authority Hamoud Mohsen, told Alsumaria News, that the Commission and the Ministry of Culture boasts of the participation of Iraqi companies in the Dubai exhibition, "pointing out that" such posts aimed at promoting tourism marketing and show the bright image of the country. "

He explained that "a large number of Arab and foreign leaders visited the Iraqi wing and exchanged views in order to show the bright picture," pointing out that "Iraq has all kinds of tourist destinations, not only for religious tourism, but the therapeutic effects and marshes and many more." 

The exhibition, which is part of the Arab Travel Week, was announced this year and has four pillars under the umbrella of the Arabian Travel Week. Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) will highlight key trends in travel and hospitality and address the potential for growth.

The 26th edition of the exhibition will be part of Arabian Travel Week, which will include Arabian Travel Market 2019, International Travel Travel Market, the Connect Middle East, India and Africa, Consumer Day Effectiveness, Holiday Shopper "Dedicated to consumers in the hospitality and travel industry. 

The Arab Travel Market continues its strong presence based on what it achieved last year. It is expected to receive about 2,500 exhibitors from around the world and 40,000 visitors from the hospitality, travel and tourism industry. Representatives from 150 countries, 65 national pavilions and more will participate. Of 100 new exhibitors are taking part for the first time in this event.

Iraq signs four agreements with Siemens worth $ 14 billion

Iraqis rank the second most angry people in the world

Iraq pays Kuwait 240 million dollars in compensation

The United Nations committee overseeing compensation from countries and organizations affected by Iraq's occupation of Kuwait announced on Sunday that it had paid 240 million dollars to Kuwait Oil Corporation (KOC) for damages.

In a statement issued by the Iraqi Media News Agency ( INA ), the committee said that with the final payment, the total amount paid as compensation to Kuwait reached about 48.3 billion dollars since 2005, and Iraq should allocate 1.5 percent of export sales to the compensation fund.

"The Commission has approved 1.5 million claims from more than 100 governments and international organizations, all of which have been paid in full, with the exception of one claim."

"Iraq still has to pay about 4.1 billion dollars of KPC's claims of $ 14.7 billion for oil production losses and sales resulting from damage to oil fields in the country as a result of the invasion," the committee said. link
